Family Feud 2 for Android is a mobile version of the game show from television that enjoyed many years of fame as one of the public's favorite games. The game itself is a classic reimagining of that original game show, and it is quite fun, but there are numerous upgrades and advertisements that get in the way. They can actually be annoying enough to limit how much time is spent playing the game.

The goal of this game is exactly the same as the original Family Feud. Players must guess the top answers of a group of people surveyed, and there are three rounds per game with the winners advancing to the Fast Money Round. Players will attempt to get at least 200 points in the last round in order to win the game.

The game allows players to either sign in via Facebook to play with friends or to sign in as a guest player. As you win more games, you'll earn more coins, and those coins are used to buy in to new games. Eventually, players will reach a high enough level that they can start to win much bigger pots.

One of the biggest differences in this game is that answers must be typed, and the game actually starts to reveal the answer as it is being typed. This helps the player realize if the answer they have come up with is correct, but it also has the potential to reveal answers that players might not have considered, thus ruining the game. This is a relatively minor issue, though, and most players don't take advantage of that feature.

When it comes to the negative aspects of the game, the advertising is perhaps the worst culprit. There are constant barrages from the game to download other games or apps, and that can feel quite intrusive. Ads also exist to award the player coins by simply watching them. This is a tricky way to help the player get in on more matches without having to pay, and the natural rate of coin collection is slow enough that most players will feel frustrated. Every game costs a minimum of 30 coins, and earning coins is no quick feat. The game also constantly asks the player to buy coins using real currency, which gets old very quickly.

In terms of the gameplay itself, this is a great port of the classic Family Feud. The sound effects and music are all modeled after the original show, and the graphics are more than adequate for a simple question-and-answer game. Some of the controls are a bit clunky, but there's no real need for speed or accuracy in a game like this.

All in all, fans of the original show will probably tolerate all the ads and requests for premium purchases in the game, but few others will find the game worth spending much time playing.
